So, I totally dropped the ball on posting this yesterday. I busting butt cleaning house and other things. Yes, one of those things was a much needed nap. Lol.

First off, I have some super exciting news to share!!

My sister, Tracey and her boy, Matt got ENGAGED!

I take some awesome pics...just sayin.

I’m super happy for them. They’re such an adorable couple and are perfect for each other! I can’t wait to help her plan her wedding! Won’t be for a while though, since they both want to finish school. Eek! So excited though!!

Anyways, it has been 6 weeks since we started this challenge. As you know, my mom and I really didn’t follow much of what the challenge was about. But, it did help us to start working out more. So, there’s always a plus side!

My mom and I were each given a Zero Scale to try out and give our opinions on. We both really liked the scale. It was pretty awesome to just see what you lost or gained, not what your number was. Although, I snuck a peek at my number quite often the last few weeks. It was hard not to being so close to onederland and all! My mom will continue to use her Zero Scale. I probably won’t though because I am missing the scale I got at Fitbloggin’ that tells me other cool things like my body fat percentage. I think I’ll be pulling that one back out for that future. Maybe I’ll even give my gently used Zero Scale away….hmmm….guess we’ll see.

Now on to the final weigh in stats!

My Stats:
Loss/Gain: -1.4 lbs
Total Loss: -10lbs!

I didn’t hit onederland this week. I’m closer now than I’ve ever been! I weighed in at 200.4! SOOOO CLOSE!! EEK!

My Mom:
Loss/Gain: -.8lbs
Total: -4.9lbs!

My mom has been totally rocking it at the gym. She’s even gone by herself a few times. I be one proud daughter!

I don’t have too much to say about this weigh in. My mom and I both gained. Probably due to the fact that yesterday was my mom’s birthday (Happy Birthday again Mommy!!), and we indulged in some VERY yummy red velvet cake and ice cream.

I also indulged a little bit this past weekend in St. Louis and missed 3 workouts due to this nasty cold and vacation. So, I’m not shocked.

My Stats:
Loss/Gain: .8 lbs
Total Loss: -5.6

My Mom:
Loss/Gain: +1.4
Total: -2.6

This next week is our last week of the challenge. My mom recently joined a gym, so I’m positive she’ll totally rock it! I’m still overcoming this cold, but going to give it my best. I did Crunch’s Ass & Abs workout yesterday, definitely feeling it in the legs today!

I promise to talk about St. Louis and the Blackhawks game tomorrow. I have some pics I need to upload. I will quickly say it was awesome and I love me some hockey!
