My friend, Dacia posted in a Facebook group that we have about setting up some March goals using my Goal Digger sheet. It has been awhile since I used it, so I of course decided to join in.

Here is what I’m working on this month:

Daily

  • Meditate
  • Hit step goal
  • Wake up before 6:00am
  • Knit for 20 minutes (guilt free!)

Weekly

  • Attend a yoga class
  • Try a new recipe
  • Phone free for 1 day a week
  • Purge a room

Monthly

  • Read 2 books
  • Sew something

Hey all!

Wow, I cannot believe that I haven’t blogged since November last year! Life got pretty busy with the holidays and then Baby B was sick the beginning of 2017, so I just now feel like I’m starting to get things together.

Whatever that means. Ha!

I’m back on track with Weight Watchers and lost 6 pounds in the month of January to bring me to a total of over 20 pounds! I’m pretty happy with that and feeling great getting back into the groove of tracking what I’m eating.

I also started a new Jillian Michaels DVD challenge. I got Bodyshred for Christmas and just started week 2! In my first week I lost over 4 inches. (!!) The workouts are anything but easy for me right now, but I’m modifying when needed. Again, it feels great to be moving more.

Baby B is doing awesome as well! She’s now 7 months old and never sits still. She’s rolling all over and is trying to figure out the whole crawling thing. It is so neat to watch her learn new things, like fake coughing. Lol.

We’ve also started her on solids, which has been such a fun experience. We decided to do Baby Led Weaning with her (I plan on writing an entire post about this) as opposed to purees. Our girl loves her some hummus, pickles, avocado toast, and an assortment of other things. Here’s to hoping she continues to love whatever we put in front of her!

Mr. B is doing well too. He just returned from a trip out to Colorado for his 30th birthday. He also got a new job within the last 6 months, which has been great! We have benefits again and it is much closer to home. Yay!

All in all, things are wonderful over here in Not On a Diet land. I’m working on figuring out where I want this blog to go and bringing you all worthwhile content. I miss chatting with you all on the regular.

So, 2017 is the year I get back to blogging!

November Coffee Date

Oh my goodness, how long has it been since our last chat over coffee? Too long! Life has gotten so busy now with Baby B, that I barely have time to shower some days.

Let’s grab and cup and catch up!

How have you been lately? Like I said, life is pretty busy with the little one. It is hard to believe that she is 4 months old already. I completely understand what they say about time going so quick! She has changed so much and I love seeing her little personality shine through. She’s laughing and jabbering away. Such a little joy to have around, even when she doesn’t want to fall asleep.

I can’t wait to see how she continues to learn new things over the next few months. Christmas is going to be so much fun with her! We’ve already started to get her a few things to have under the tree. Our biggest debate though is whether to get her a ball pit or a teepee. Haha.

Have you started any Christmas shopping yet?

I can’t quite wrap my head around it being the holiday season already! The weather has been super great here lately and it just doesn’t feel quite like November. Not that I’m complaining, it has given Baby B and I plenty of opportunities to get outside and walk. She loves riding in the stroller and I love it because she usually falls asleep without a fuss!

Getting back to exercise has been really good. And as much as I love walking, I’m ready to spice it up. I’m thinking a good ol’ Jillian Michaels challenge is to be tackled. My body is craving different movement and some strength training.

What are you doing for your workouts lately?

Along with getting back to exercise, I’m trying to do more things for me. It’s hard when you’re a mom to get a few moments for yourself. Usually it is after she goes to bed for the night and I just want to veg out in front of the TV with Mr. B. So, I’m trying to use that time to knit (something for Baby B) and read. I would like to get back into blogging more as well, but it has been a struggle. I sometimes just don’t know what to write about or what anyone would like to read about.

Oh look at that, Baby B is starting to wake up from her nap. I love that we could take a moment and catch up before all the holiday craziness! I hope that we can do it again soon!
