Weekly Weigh In: Stupid Scale Edition

Starting Weight: 327.6
Current Weight: 206.6

Really…REALLY??!!?!?! 

A 2.6 gain?!!??!?!!?!!?!?!

Lesson learned today: The scale never does what you expect it to.

Usually I can tell you why I gained, usually it’s because I drank too much beer, I didn’t work out, and I didn’t track. Not this week though. I didn’t have any beer, I worked out Monday-Thursday, and I tracked every single thing that entered my mouth.

Maybe my gain is due to the couple of days of strength training, maybe it’s that awesome guy named TOM, or maybe it was that cookie I had last night. I do know that it isn’t because I didn’t do the things I need to do to lose weight.

I was quite upset about it this morning, even cried. There’s nothing I can do about it though. I’m just going to keep on doing what I’ve been doing and hope to get to onederland soon. Sigh. That’s all I really want, I just want that number to begin with a one.

My mom and sister on the other hand had awesome losses this week! So yay for them!! :-)

Brookie B

Lil B is still in the lead. We still have two weeks to go and I still plan on winning. I need some new threads for Fitbloggin! Which is less than a month away! Eek!!

Oh, I also will be going a recipe review soon. And one of my favorite cookie companies sent me a sampler pack, so I’ll be doing a review and giveaway of those soon too! A lot of exciting things are happening around here! :-)

I lost!! Woohoo!! I had a really awesome week on plan. I worked out a ton and one of the days I even did TWO workouts. :) Felt good to get outside and finally run too. Hoping to do more of that this week. And I’m actually not as out of shape in the running department as I thought I would be. So that’s a huge plus!

So it was also week one of The Three B’s Biggest Loser Competition! Here areweek one’s stats:

Percentage Lost: .18%

Lil B:
Starting Weight: 134
Week 1: 132
Percentage Lost: 1.49%

Brookie B
Starting Weight: 207

Percentage Lost: 1.44%

So as you can see Lil B is in the lead….but BARELY! I plan on taking the lead next week. :)

Oh, and just a heads up, my weekly weigh ins will be moving to Saturdays. My favorite leader (Hi Becky!) got pulled from my Friday meeting to do another, so I have to switch again. I will be going to a 7am meeting on the weekends I work and a 10am meeting on the weekends I have off. We’ll see how it works out. I’m willing to do whatever to stay in Becky’s meetings. She’s the best. :)

Well, I’m off to finish watching the NHL playoff with B-Fry! Go Blackhawks! :)

Weekly Weigh In: A Little Family Competition Edition

Ya, I really don’t want to discuss my weigh in this week. I tracked, I worked out, and stayed on plan. The gain has no explanation. So I’m going to do some pouting, then get over it and partake in some competition.

 

My sister was talking to me the other day and said that she needed some motivation to get back on track. My mom has mentioned needing a boost before too. And it’s pretty obvious that I need something lately.

All this talk led me to think that we need a little friendly competition to get us all back on track. And this led to putting together the first ever:

The Three B’s Biggest Loser Competition

It goes from today (April 8th) until May 6th. Weigh ins are on Fridays and the person to lose the most percentage of weight within those 4 weeks wins!! The winner gets $60 to their favorite store.
