Hard to believe that September is coming to an end! Seems like just last week I was emailing Emily, figuring out a way to help her (and me) get back on track.
That’s how this all started, just a way to help out a friend. But it became SO MUCH more than that. Back to Basics was born and I had over 300 people join the FB group, eager to get back on track and work on goals. And we did just that! Each week I gave you guys something to work on and you guys rocked it!
Let’s quickly recap what we learned over the month!
These are all great things to continue working on and when you find yourself struggling again, just come back to the basics!
It has been a great month and I feel more than prepared to take on the rest of the year! I hope that you guys do too!
To get you geared up for success in October, I want you guys to set up some more goals to work on. Setting goals every month is a great way to help you stay on track because it is giving you something to constantly work on.
My goals for September were half successful.
I did get my body fat under 25%, it is now 23%. So I’m pretty happy with that! I’m going to continue on working getting that down. Ideally I would like it under 20% before the year is out.
I also completed Ripped in 30! I had some great results in my stomach area and will be sharing it all on my blog this week. So, stay tuned!
As for biking 100 miles, I didn’t even come close. I biked a total of 13 miles. It was just a weird weather month and things got busy. Then these last couple of weeks, we’ve been house sitting Mr. B’s grandparents house which has limited my rides around town since they live in the country. It just didn’t get done….moving on.
Not eating past 8:30PM was tough! I did okay the first couple of weeks, then didn’t do it all the last 2. It seems like I always want a little snack at that time, no matter what. So, I may need to review that goal.
I’ll be working on what I’d like my October goals to be today. Well, after my phone interview with Weight Watchers!! *fingercrossed* that I get a job! I mean, they have to hire me, I’m awesome!
How was your September, did you get back to basics?
What are you going to work on in October?
