4 Years Down!

February 2nd holds a special place in my life. It’s the day I decided (with the encouragement of my amazing mother), to go to my first Weight Watchers meeting. It’s the day I decided to change my life for the better.

A lot has changed in four years and I’ve talked about it many times. I’m not the woman I used to be and I couldn’t be more happy. Life is a million times better now and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you would have told me on February 2nd, 2009 that I would be this girl in 4 years, I probably wouldn’t have believed it. That girl was still broken inside and down on herself. But as I went along I became less broken and then became whole when I found my other half. Now when I tell me that 4 years from now that I’ll be super fit, healthy, a mom, and kick ass Weight Watchers leader, I believe. Because if this journey has taught me anything, is that I’m more than capable of accomplishing my goals and living the best life I can live!

Brooke: Not On A Diet: 4 Years Later

To those of you just starting out on your journey, I want you to know that no matter how long it takes you to get to goal, that it is worth every single step. Every set back while frustrating, will only make you stronger. I can promise you that everything will be worth it in the end. Don’t give up, because you are much better than that. You are worth more than a number on a scale or even a number written on a clothing tag. You are worth your health, your well-being, and worth being there for the ones that love you.

So take it from the girl who has been in your shoes and know exactly where you’re coming from:

Never Give Up On You

Thank you all for your continued support! You guys are awesome and I’m forever grateful for each and every single one of you! Here’s to another 4 year being fit, strong, and healthy!!

This is what everyone needs to hear. This journey is not an overnight one, or even a 6 month one. It is a struggle at times. But it is worth it. It is a life. I’m glad that you’ve been at this for the long haul and its inspiring.
