Turbo Fire!

A couple of weeks ago, I received Turbo Fire from a dear blog reader. Mr. B and I did one of the workouts and I told myself I’d start it the next week. Well, this whole staying at his grandparents’ house threw me off and I put it off.

Well, we’re ‘moving’ back home today, so it’s now time to get back in the swing of things! I’m super happy about this because being here has been okay except there are foods here I don’t normally keep at my house (I’m talking to you peanut m&ms!) and I find myself randomly snacking on them for no reason. Which is probably part of the reason I only lost .6lbs this week. That and the fact that my workouts have been lacking.

There are no more excuses though! Starting Monday I will be taking on the Turbo Fire 12 week challenge! It has been awhile since I’ve done a workout challenge and I do enjoy them a great deal. They are actually the most looked at posts on my blog. People want to see results and I can’t wait to post mine from Turbo Fire!

I wrote out all the workouts in my Weight Watchers 12 Week Journal, so if it’s written, it must happen. And I did sort of mention it to Emily on Instagram, who is starting her own workout challenge on Monday. She’s going to be doing Jillian Michaels’ Body Revolution! Be sure to check out her progress and cheer her on too!

In true challenge fashion, I will be posting my before pictures and measurements. These before pictures are different from any before pictures I’ve posted before. They actually show my hanging skin on my stomach, which is usually covered up by a tank top. But, I wanted to see if Turbo Fire will do anything to lessen it and can’t see that well if I’m wearing a tank.

Not gonna lie, it’s a lil scary to do so, but here goes nothing!

Brooke: Not On A Diet: Turbo Fire BeforeAnd of course my measurements!

Hips: 40″
L. Thigh: 20.5″
Waist: 32″
Calf: 16″
Bust: 34.5″
L. Arm: 12″
Weight: 162.8lbs

I am oh so ready to take on this challenge!!

This is my ‘grrr’ face!

I plan on updating my progress monthly instead of weekly like I did for the 30 Day Shred and Ripped In 30. I’m sure I will post about certain workouts and such along the way. I’m super excited to get started and challenging myself again! I can’t wait to see what this brings!

Have you done Turbo Fire? How are you challenging yourself lately?

Good luck with the challenge! Would just like to say thanks for posting the pics (especially since it was scary for you). As I am continuing on my weight loss journey, the past few weeks, I’ve been very scared of what my body may look like when done, and almost believe this has been holding me back (so irrational). The images in my head were so much worse then what I see here. I know everyone is different, but you have brought me great relief by posting these pictures and made it so I won’t worry! Look forward to seeing your results. Thanks agian.

Excited to see your end results! I’m down 120 pounds now and one of the toughest things thus far in my journey is the realization that I may be facing surgery to deal with the loose skin. I’m holding out hope that I can tighten enough of it to either a) not go that route or b) lessen the severity. Thank you for posting your pics I know it took incredible courage. You’re a true inspiration and I think you look amazing!

Good luck! I think you’ll do amazing.

You go girlie! Get ripped, get pumped, get FIRED. I’m still so glad that after all these years (ALMOST 3) that you’re still blogging and I’m coming back to blog.

And dang girl, you look awesome :) Strong, healthy, and happy. That’s the most important. I want to read what you think about TurboFire. I’ve been branching out of my comfort zone taking lots of exercise classes on top of my usual run/lift routine and I’m having a blast.

Do I look retarded doing zumba? Absolutely. But do I love it? 150%!

You’re such an inspiration Brooke! I am going to start the 30 Day Shred starting Monday for a month, I hope to see results and follow through this time.

Can’t wait to see how this goes for you. I love the in-person TurboKick workouts!

I don’t want to offend you by any means but just looking at your pictures it seems like most of you”weight” that’s leftover looks more like loose skin. Of course all I am seeing is a picture and I’m no medical professional. You look great and good luck on your challenge! I’ve always wanted to get turbo fire, maybe I will based on whatever results you have! So excited for you!

I’ve done some of the TurboFire workouts, but not the whole thing – my roommate had the DVDs so I would borrow them sporadically. They’re intense!

Also, it really bugs me that the class leader wears gold hoops. I mean, we’re EXERCISING here, lady.
