So, I totally dropped the ball on posting this yesterday. I busting butt cleaning house and other things. Yes, one of those things was a much needed nap. Lol.
First off, I have some super exciting news to share!!
My sister, Tracey and her boy, Matt got ENGAGED!
I’m super happy for them. They’re such an adorable couple and are perfect for each other! I can’t wait to help her plan her wedding! Won’t be for a while though, since they both want to finish school. Eek! So excited though!!
Anyways, it has been 6 weeks since we started this challenge. As you know, my mom and I really didn’t follow much of what the challenge was about. But, it did help us to start working out more. So, there’s always a plus side!
My mom and I were each given a Zero Scale to try out and give our opinions on. We both really liked the scale. It was pretty awesome to just see what you lost or gained, not what your number was. Although, I snuck a peek at my number quite often the last few weeks. It was hard not to being so close to onederland and all! My mom will continue to use her Zero Scale. I probably won’t though because I am missing the scale I got at Fitbloggin’ that tells me other cool things like my body fat percentage. I think I’ll be pulling that one back out for that future. Maybe I’ll even give my gently used Zero Scale away….hmmm….guess we’ll see.
Now on to the final weigh in stats!
Loss/Gain: -1.4 lbs
Total Loss: -10lbs!
I didn’t hit onederland this week. I’m closer now than I’ve ever been! I weighed in at 200.4! SOOOO CLOSE!! EEK!
My mom has been totally rocking it at the gym. She’s even gone by herself a few times. I be one proud daughter!
Sadly, I didn’t get around to progress pictures and I didn’t get my mom’s measurements. Things have been crazy around here with Christmas coming at all! Maybe I’ll try to get some this weekend when I see her and post them next week!
If you are wanting a Zero Scale of your very own, I have a code you can use to get 15% off your scale! All you do is type in the word “ZERO” when you place your order! I suggest you go buy one now! Or at least put it on your Christmas list! (code is good through December 23, 2012)
Disclaimer: I got the Zero Scale for free as part of a review opportunity. All experiences and opinions are my own, except my mom’s those are hers.
