Fit Bloggin’ Jitters

Remember when I rapped my way to Fit Bloggin? And when that rap got me a ticket to the two days of awesomeness!

Ya, I’m pretty excited about it! But there’s a feeling that comes alongside the excited feeling I have….

…..Nervousness.

B-Fry and I finally got our plane tickets yesterday and he asked me if I was nervous for the plane ride. I told him that I was, but that I was also nervous for the conference. He asked me what I was nervous about.

Well, I’m nervous mostly because it is something totally new for me. I’ve never been to anything like this before and I don’t really know what to expect. I’m nervous of being the lame kid that no one wants to talk to. Nervous about meeting new people, nervous about getting lost, nervous about getting toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe and no one telling me, and nervous about being so darn nervous.

I know that it is silly to feel this way. I know there will be plenty of people to say hello and befriend me. But, there are still these feelings. I’m sure they will become more prevalent as Fitbloggin’ gets closer. But, as always, I’ll survive!

In other news, I’ve been having an awesome week on plan so far. I’ve tracked everything and have had two awesome workouts! I’m going to continue on this. And thanks to everyone on your feedback on my last post. You guys rock and made some excellent points! Thanks for being awesome! :)

What about you, If you’re going to Fitbloggin’, Are you nervous?!

Weekly Weigh In: Frustrated Edition

Starting Weight: 327.6
Current Weight: 205.0
Last Week: 202.2
Loss/Gain: +2.8
Total Loss: 122.6

Ya, I’m up quite a bit. Apparently that’s what happens when you don’t track all week. It’s also the result of throwing the plan out the window for two whole days when my cousin and her boyfriend were in town.

Them being in town totally threw off mine and B-Fry’s routine. It’s hard to stay on routine when you have guests. You want to entertain them and show them a good time.

Well this involved a night of drinking, a couple of meals out, and a not the most healthy yet delicious pasta dish made by my cousin.  It didn’t involve tracking, GHGs, activity, or any of those things I need to do to lose weight.

It was dumb to let myself get so off plan. But I did. So I live and learn, yet again.  Funny how my meeting today was all about slip ups and moving past them. I’ll be moving past this one.

It seems I’ve really been having a lot of slip ups lately. And I’m not going to lie, it is really starting to wear on me. I hate how I can do so awesome and then just toss it out the window and say screw it. I know that it is no one’s fault but my own.

I can say no to drinking, I can choose to track, I can get my butt out there and go for a run. And I do those things, but never for a long period of time lately. I need to start getting excited again about being on plan. I need to stick with it for more than just a couple of weeks at a time.

I need to get my head back in the game.

Tips, tricks, advice?

FMM: Giving the Boys A Chance
1. Who is your pick for the Final Four?
This is the first year I’ve ever filled out a bracket. B-Fry’s work is doing a pool and half the money is going to charity, so he invited me to join. Now I don’t really follow college basketball, so I don’t know a lot about the teams. But I must say I’m not doing too bad so far! My Final Four are: Purdue, Butler, Duke, and Kentucky. I have Kentucky winning it all, which I’ve caught a lot of slack for, but when they when, I’ll be telling all them “Told you so!” Haha.
2. What is your favorite workout/fitness activity?
I enjoy running when I stick to it. I fell off the running wagon during winter. I just haven’t worked up the courage to get out there when it’s all snowy and cold to go for a run. And I have no access to a treadmill. Running will be my main activity here very soon though!
3. Do you have a favorite healthy snack? Something that REALLY hits the
spot?
Bananas always hit the spot. Or a 100 calorie bag of kettle corn. Yum!!
4. What is your dream car?
I personally HATE owning a car. I find them to be nothing but money pits. But I live in a small town and have no access to public transportation. I will admit that I would LOVE to have an El Camino someday though. Ya, those cars that have a truck bed, that’s what I want. I’d settle for a BMW or a Jeep Commander too though. ;)
5. Have you set any goals for yourself this month? What are they?
I did set some goals this month. I posted them in their own post at the beginning of the month, but here’s a quick review! 1) Earn 75 APs+ 2) Meet my GHGs 20 days this month 3) Write a recipe or food review (which I’d like to know which one you want) 4) Hit Onederland 5) Go on a photog walk
I’m doing pretty well so far with my goals! So go me!! :)
Now it’s your turn to answer the questions! Don’t forget to link back here!!
