Weekly Weigh In: Mission 199.9 Edition

Starting Weight: 327.6
Current Weight: 210.2
Last Week: 211.4
Loss/Gain: -1.2
Total Loss: 117.4lbs

I’m quite happy with that loss. It’s also two losses in a row which honestly hasn’t happened in over a month. I will be happy to continue with the downward trend. :)

My meeting was good today. My leader Becky mentioned my blog, which she does on occasion, but this time she featured my Victory Log. Must say I felt pretty special. :) I also had several members ask me for my site address after my meeting. So, if you’re stopping from there, Hello and welcome to my blog! Feel free to browse and shoot a comment or email my way.

Now on to Mission 199.9!

Last week I mentioned that I want to weigh under 200lbs by November 19th, which is the year anniversary of starting my blog.

Well that’s my goal and to accomplish that goal I need a plan of attack.

I have a little less than 5 weeks until the 19th and 11.5lbs to lose in that 5 weeks. I need to lose at least 2.3lbs a week to hit 199.9lbs.

How am I going to do it?

-Track 6/7days a week (I don’t normally track on weigh in days)
-Drink all my water everyday
-Earn at least 75 activity points
-Eat out no more than once a week, excluding Tuesdays

I’m also going to include my starting measurements:

Right Upper Arm: 14.5”
Left Upper Arm: 14.5”
Right Calf: 16”
Left Calf: 16.2”
Right Thigh: 22.2”
Left Thigh: 22”
Bust: 40.5”
Waist: 39”
Hips: 46”

I’ll earn my activity points by doing a crap ton of cardio and throwing dumbbells into the mix. I also need to start practicing yoga again. I earned 10 last week! Yay!

I’m going to track my progress on a calendar and when I hit certain goals for the day I’ll mark them off. If I do this a certain number of days, I’ll reward myself. I want to shoot for at least 5 days a week. I’m not perfect and I know this, so I’m not going to set the goal of 7 days a week. Five is quite manageable.

What will be my reward you ask?

A cute fleece zip up from either North Face or Columbia. I’ve fallen in love with them for some reason. Okay, I blame B-Fry for that one. Ha.

Preferably this one:

It’s going to happen and It’s going to be amazing.

Oh and I’ll totally look cute in that fleece. ;)

Weekly Weigh In: Kicking It Into High Gear Edition

Starting Weight: 327.6
Current Weight: 211.4
Last Week: 212.4
Loss/Gain: -1.0
Total Loss: 116.2lbs

I’m out of the 212s again. And I swear I’m never going back. That dang number has haunted my shrinking ass for far too long!

So long 212s, I will never see you on the scale again! End. Of. Story.

I had a pretty decent week foodwise. I sucked it up in the exercise department, but I was battling an icky cold thing. So, I wasn’t up to working out. And I’m okay with that. Getting well is far more important than working out. I’m still dealing with the cold, but I shall live through the day.

Now on to why this is the “Kicking It Into High Gear” edition….

I started this blog one year ago on November 19th. I had no idea that it would ever become what it has and I’m amazed everyday by the people I have reached. It’s what keeps me going some days.

Anyways, I’m usually not one to set time limits on weight loss, but I’m breaking that rule. By November 19th I want to be under 200lbs. I don’t care if it’s 199.9, I just want to be there. To get there I have to lose 11.5lbs in 5 weeks. Yes that’s a little more than 2lbs a week, but if I stick to the plan and do what I know I need to do, I can do it.

I WILL DO IT!

So, the plan it to be on plan. The plan is still in the works and will be finalized tonight at work. I will rock out a post tomorrow going over what I’ll be doing. There will be goals and rewards, because getting under 200lbs is something that deserves a massive reward in my world.

Be sure to check back tomorrow! And if you have any suggestions as to what I should do, let me know. I’m always open to suggestions!

I want to thank all my lovely readers for the feedback on my Exposed post. The comments you all left brought tears to my eyes and made me remember why I write this blog. My post inspired others to get out there and Expose themselves and learn to love their bodies. That’s something wonderfully amazing. I love you guys! <3

Happy One Year Exposed!

Remember back in April when I stripped down to my bra and shorts, wrote amazing things I loved about me, and Exposed myself? Well, if you don’t, you missed out and should go read that post.

One year ago today Mish over at Eating Journey exposed herself and started an amazing movement that 60 people have now taken part in. I’m glad to be a part of something so great.

I never had any intention of Exposing myself ever. I was always the girl who hated her naked body, who demanded to have sex with the lights off and would quickly dress afterwards, who would look in the mirror and criticize everything she saw, who hated herself and self destructed with food.

I’m no longer that girl.

I had all intentions of throwing on my bra and shorts and taking another Exposed picture. But after taking some pictures, I took the one of above. I feel absolutely beautiful in the picture. I’ve been up for 30mins, haven’t showered, or put on makeup. So this is a different kind of Exposed. And I love it.

Happy Exposed Anniversary to you all!

If you know nothing of this movement, please check it out. A lot of great Exposed posts are out there.
