I must say despite the gain I had yesterday as a result of my week, I had an epically awesome week!
Thursday I was on Miz Fit’s site and stumbled upon her store where she sells some great shirts. I saw that she had a “I Am My Own Superhero” t-shirt and knew I wanted one ASAP. I had been looking for the perfect shirt to wear for Race For The Cure and this was the one.
So I jokingly mentioned on Twitter that I wanted one and would someone buy it for me. I figured my tweet would go unnoticed and I’d go about my day. Well about 10mins later I get a tweet from Ryan stating that he would buy me the shirt and I just needed to send him my address.
I was rather surprised that someone was actually going to buy me the shirt. I sent him my info and my shirt should be here sometime this week!

This just goes to show how wonderful the weight loss blogging community is. In the few months that I’ve been apart of it I’ve been welcomed with open arms and have met (via online) some awesome people! I hope to someday meet most, if not all of them in person. They all rock!
This weekend was my brother’s graduation. Family from all around came down on Friday and Saturday. I finally got to see my lovely cousin, Lauren. We haven’t raised hell since the last time she was here in January. We’re so much alike and always have a good time.

Saturday was his graduation party and there was nothing but good times all around. I saw a lot of people I hadn’t seen in a while, so there were lots of compliments being thrown my way which was quite nice. After the party at the park, family came back to my parent’s house where we continued the party. I drank way too much, but had a ton of fun. Quite frankly, that’s all that matters! )
Sunday was his graduation. I didn’t cry as much as I thought I was going to, but I did shed a few tears. My baby brother isn’t a baby anymore. *sniffle sniffle* Oh, I also went all girlie and wore a dress to graduation. Like an actual dress….be amazed! haha. I looked good as did the rest of my amazing family!

Sunday night I went and saw Barenaked Ladies in concert. I wouldn’t call myself a huge fan, but Jared had an extra ticket so I tagged along. I must say I’m glad I did. They put on a great show! Their opening act was very talented as well. In fact I’m listening to her at the moment. ) Her name is Serena Ryder and I suggest checking her out!
I entered a couple of blog giveaways last week and I’m excited to say that I won them both! )
I won a $10 gift card to Subway from Darlene just by telling her what my favorite Subway meal is.
Then today I find out that I won a copy of The Spark from JewliaGoulia. I helped name her hubby’s bike. The winning name…Kennedy. Yeah, I’m good like that! )
I can’t wait to receive my awesome prizes! I plan to get the new Subway breakfast with my card. So, I’ll be sure to review the breakfast and the book when I get the chance!
Also, I’m happy to report that I’ve been on plan all day and I feel great! I must remember this feeling the next time I want to hop off the wagon!
