Randomness At Its Finest!

There really isn’t a point to today’s blog. I just having a lot of things to share and things I’ve been thinking about. So this will be random….you have been warned!

First off I want to thank all of you for your support and lovely comments on my EXPOSED post! You all were so awesomely kind which made the whole process a lot easier to deal with! :o )

I had a major NSV yesterday! I set out to do W3D3 of C25K yesterday morning. Well, I did it, but wasn’t too happy with how my run went. I just didn’t feel like I did the best I could. So, I turned around and did it again! This is a huge step for me, in the past I would have never done such a thing. I’ve always been about doing the bare minimum, but yesterday I didn’t! Go me!!

Now for a mini rant…..I took my car to have its oil changed and to have a tire put on today. Well, first off it too FOREVER! I had an appointment at 1:00pm. A lady who DIDN’T have one came in around 1:15pm. She got out before me and we both had basic oil changes. I was there for over an hour. Grr! Anyways, my car is done and the mechanic comes in and is like “So there are a lot of things wrong with your car that we should talk about.” He shows me this list and the total of all that’s ‘wrong’ with my car is going to cost close to $2,000! I tell him that I don’t want any of it fixed, that I have a dad that does that sort of thing for me. He looked bummed, but I’m pretty sure he’ll get over it.

I take the estimate and start looking over it. Apparently NONE of my lights are working properly, which is funny considering they work just fine when I’m driving it. Also, I apparently need a new thermostat too. Well, I would if my dad didn’t replace it LAST MONTH!!!!! Really, do I look that stupid? I guess since I have breasts, I am. Talk about annoying. I really hate mechanics who are like that.

Needless to say, I WON’T be putting $2,000 into a car I only paid $200 for….just sayin.

In other news, I’ve been doing some thinking about ways to save money. Which has brought me to the thought of getting rid of my BlackBerry. I feel like I’m utterly too addicted to it and I could really use the extra $30 a month I pay for the internet on it. This means, No Twitter, Facebook, or Blogging from my phone. I think I could handle it.

I know I can handle it. I recently just got a library card, so I can totally utilize the computers and whatnot there. I’m still going to give it some more thought, but I’m highly considering it.

Thoughts anyone?

Speaking of the computers at the library, I don’t have much time left on my session. So, I’m outta here! Thanks for dealing with my rambling!!

Check in tomorrow for my Fun Loving Friday post!!

Weekly Weigh In

Eek! I had a gain of 2.2lbs! It was really expected.

This past week wasn’t my best one, but it really wasn’t that horrible either. I did great until the weekend. Those always seem to get me!

Oh well, the weekend I had was well worth it! I had probably one of the best weekends I’ve had in awhile. :o )

It was Tim’s 21st birthday, so we of course had to celebrate the only way possible! Lots of booze! I had no intentions of drinking that much as I had my car. Well that was soon tossed out the window when informed we had a DD.

First stop was Harley’s where we played tons of pool for 25cents a game. It was a lot of fun and I remembered I’m not too horrible at pool. We then went to Bent River where they tried to get me to enjoy Raspberry beer….ya…didn’t happen. Then it was off to my favorite place, Icons!

Icons is a specialty martini place that I’m just in love with. I’m sure I’ve said it before, but I feel sexy as hell drinking a martini. While there I had an amazing martini called The Wizard of Oz. It was to taste like a smore and was even served with toasted marshmallows! Really was delicious!

We then headed to RIBCO where I successfully crossed off another item on my Bucket List! I have finally found a beer I like and can drink! Jared is quite proud of this fact. Haha. Ever since we’ve met he’s been wanting to find one for me. For those of you wondering it was Woodchuck Cider. It was delicious and tasted a lot like apple cider.

Jared and I With THE Beer!

Taking My First Sip!

We hit up another bar, then headed to the hotel where Jared works at and went swimming. I ended up getting home at about 7:00am and waking up at 10:00am.

Saturday night was more beer (Woodchuck Granny Smith this time) and some pizza. Eek! I only had 2 slices, but still not the greatest choice. I also skipped my run on Saturday.

I did wake up Sunday and got my run in though. I started Week 3 of C25K. I can now say I’ve ran for 3minutes straight! Woo!!

I wasn’t on play Friday-Monday and it really showed on the scale. I need to quit getting off track on the weekends.

Anyone have any pointers for me? Luckily that was this week’s Weight Watchers topic, so I did learn some things. But I want to know what works for you. I have a lot of events coming up the next month on the weekends, so I’ll need help!

Wednesday, my butt is back ON PLAN! And the drinking I may do this weekend will be counted for!! No more of this non tracking crap. It doesn’t work!

Goal time!!

100 Pounds of Fat

<div class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 410px"100lbs Of Fat

100lbs Of Fat

So, sometimes I still can’t believe that I’ve lost over 100lbs. It’s hard to explain. I guess I just find it so unbelievable because I honestly never thought I would do it. But I did and I’m so friggin proud!

Anyways, I decided to google images on what 100lbs looks like.

The picture above is what I got.

It’s hard to believe and quite disgusting that I used to carry that on my body. I did that to myself, no one put that food in my mouth to make me gain that 100lbs. I’m to blame for that 100lb gain.

Yet, I’m the one who lost that 100lbs. I decided to change my eating habits and to start moving more. I’m the one who shed that weight I so stupidly gained.

I also couldn’t have done it without the tons of support I’ve received from family, friends, my WW leaders Barb and Becky, my twitter tweeps, and you: my awesome blog reader!

I’m glad that 100lbs of fat is gone and will be gone forever.
