Love Letter to Myself

In honor of Valentine's Day, I've decided to write a love letter to myself. Because if I don't love myself, who will?

Dear Brooke Ann,

I love you more than words can express. This hasn't always been the case, but in the last year my love for you has grown more and more with each ounce of weight you have shed.

I'm so proud of you for making the changes you have. It shows how strong of a person you really are. The fact that you've stuck with it for so long really says a lot. So, go you!!

I love your confidence. How easy it is for you to talk to strangers now when before you'd cower away. Now you walk like you have a purpose and you smile that beautiful radiant smile. Having this new found confidence has paid off. Look at the people you've met and the interesting encounters you've experienced with different people.

Have I mentioned you're beautiful? Your eyes are amazing, the way they change colors and have that sparkle to them. You're beautiful smile with your perfect teeth that required no braces! :o) You're body is awesome. It's finally taking shape and you're looking sexy as hell. You can pull off skinny jeans, somethings you've wanted to do since they entered the fashion world! Your body rocks.

You're quite creative too. Your photography, collaging, card making, and even your coloring skills are something to shout about. Also, I'm glad to have you writing again. Your blog is great and you've helped a lot of people with it. Keep up the good work. Oh, and please get out those cameras more often!

Your singing voice is like that of a song bird. Beautiful and has brought tears to eyes before. Whether you're rocking out to No Doubt or perfecting Somewhere Over the Rainbow, you do a lovely job.

I want to end this letter by saying I love you more now than I ever have before. And my love for you grows with each passing day. It has been an awesome 24 years and I can't wait for the next 24!!

Your Forever Love,
Brooke

Now go write a letter to yourself! :o)

This is the second time I’ve heard mention of a Wizard of Oz reference. Can I tell you I’m planning a Wizard of Oz themed Wedding for September of next year??? :)
